Meet the Doc

Dr. Sanfilippo graduated “cum laude” from the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in 1997 and shortly thereafter established his private practice in the town of Ardsley. In 2000, he received his Certified Chiropratic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.) certification from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. Rob has also recently completed a Diplomate in sports medicine from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (D.A.C.B.S.P.). He is certified in Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) which includes: Spine, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Biomechanics, and Long Tract Nerve Entrapments. Dr. Rob is also certified in the Graston Technique, which utilizes instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. Dr. Rob recently completed his certification in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) which is used for chronic pain.

In 2006, Dr. Rob began to work closely with prominent Westchester companies and professional associations.

Dr. Rob specializes in neuromusculoskeletal injuries that inflict everyone from the elite athlete to the office worker. He uses his sports medicine knowledge and soft tissue techniques to solve the most difficult cases. He is a firm believer in the wellness model which consists of chiropractic care, regular exercise, and proper nutrition.
